About MandyMax Sanctuary
Our Mission
MandyMax Sanctuary is a safe place for unwanted horses and dogs. We believe in the healing connection between animals and people. At the sanctuary, we support the mutual benefits of therapy and training sessions for animals and people. We believe that everyone deserves a safe and comfortable place to heal.
The Animals Come First
In June 2025 we welcomed two new horses (approximately 22-24 years old). Desi and Lucille's owner passed away and the horses had no care for several weeks. Thanks to "Jess" here in Desert Hills, the horses found a home here at MandyMax Sanctuary.
What We Do
We provide a safe place for horses and dogs. In January 2025 we welcomed "Jax", a 12 year old with a bad leg. It only took a couple of weeks for him to settle in nicely with "Phoenix".
MandyMax Sanctuary is an Arizona and IRS accredited non profit organization (EIN available by request).
